Surface Engineering and Manufacturing Innovation (SEMI) Laboratory at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is seeking several highly motivated Ph.D. students having interests and skills in surface engineering, additive manufacturing, data-driven manufacturing, mechanical design, and computational modeling. The students will be involved in fully funded graduate research on various topics of additive manufacturing, hybrid manufacturing, surface engineering, polymer electronics, printed electronics, and smart manufacturing, under the guidance of Prof. Semih Akin Google Scholar. We welcome individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and perspectives.
